How To Swab Your Cheek

A simple cheek swab is all that is needed. No excessive amounts of saliva or blood are necessary. The inside of the cheek provides ample amount of DNA cells for a complete genetic analysis.

The test results are received within 10 business days once the lab has received your specimen. Consultations should be scheduled accordingly.

Complete the Genetic ProtocolTM requisition form and sign.

Abstain from any kind of eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum for at least 30 minutes before swab collection. If possible, keeping the mouth empty for 30 minutes will yield even more cheek cells during the swab collection.
